After a day of teaching and four hours working on my National Board Certification, I came home feeling a little blue.

Fortunately, Tony, from my Kaibab Family, sent Chocolatier Blue for Christmas. (I am blessed.)

I opened the box and chose a heart filled with gingerbread.

Last week, my friend, Phyllis, a master chocolatier who just opened Tandem Chocolates in Park City, told me that, as a girl, she loved delivering the chocolates her mother made because it “made people happy.”

It’s true.

Chocolate makes people, including me, happy.
