2015 Intentions

Articles on Huffington Post and TED talks suggest that resolutions are more likely to be kept when they are made public.
Therefore, my intentions for 2015, include the following:

  • Walk/run 2015 miles in 2015
  • Complete a crossword puzzle each weekend
  • Read 30 minutes/day
  • Share a memory of Dwight Hooker each day
  • Clean/organize a drawer, a shelf, or a cupboard each day
  • Practice yoga daily (even if it is just three Sun Salutations)
  • 5-minutes of meditation each day

It’s time.

Those are some intentions I can get on board with… maybe we should create a Facebook group to share with each other and like-minded individuals in the interested of accountability. (That was a terribly constructed sentence, but you get the idea.)

These are all great goals. I can understand how sharing a goal could be helpful but in my case, it creates too much stress. If I fail to reach it, the failure hits much harder.
