Values: Human and Canine

About a week ago, I took a list of 373 values and tried to narrow it down for myself. The values included abundance, cleanliness, frankness, structure, temperance, and even youthfulness.

For me, I narrowed it down to the following sixteen:

Acceptance

Accomplishment

Anticipation

Appreciation

Belonging

Commitment

Contentment

Giving

Gratitude

Humor

Learning

Selflessness

Self-reliance

Understanding

Warmth

I’d like to break my list down to three core values. To do that, I will look to the Hooker Horde to see what I learn.

Attached is photo of Thelma, Louise, and me. They were found in Texas. I met up with their rescuer in Wyoming and brought them to Utah to find fur-ever homes. Unconditional love was not a value on the list, but love is.
